I am taking part in an Exhibition this Easter at the Morvah School House Gallery.  It is an exhibition organised by the Cornwall Ceramic and Glass Group and there are 10 artists taking part.

The Gallery is an airy space with a large window overlooking the West Penwith moorland. It is a fanstatic place to show art and has wonderful historical links.

The Exhibition starts on the  Saturday  April 23rd until Friday May 6th.

The Gallery is open from 10.30am to 5.00pm and is closed on a Monday except the Bank Holiday.

The work I will be showing will be mainly Raku pieces like Butterflies, Birds and also some Crosses.

They will come from the ideas that I have been developing through my latest course at Plymouth College of Art and Design. I have written  poems on clay , mainly expressing my personal Christian faith but also a recurrent theme of Peace, through olive branches. I have expressed these words with symbols on the clay of olive branches,   doves, water and fire.
